Self-published author Justin Druiff writes about the reality on animal cruelty through a fictional-point-of-view in his book The Giant Sparrows. His book details the adventures of Johnny, an animal protector, and his wife, Jordin. The giant sparrows are creatures who have evolved from the bones of a pterodactyl dinosaur. To the locals and to the government, they are a threat to society and are hunted carelessly. But these creatures are more than meets the eye– they are after all gentle and harmless.
